Role Overview
Manufacturing Engineers with expertise in machining and machine building are responsible for designing, building, installing, and optimizing advanced production equipment and processes. They serve as a critical link between design engineering and shop floor execution, ensuring complex designs are translated into high-precision, repeatable manufacturing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Equipment & Process Development: Design, assemble, and install manufacturing equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures aligned to production requirements
· Operational Excellence & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, and machine failures using data-driven approaches such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
· Process Documentation: Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process sheets to standardize operations and ensure consistency
· Supplier & Vendor Collaboration: Engage with external machine builders and suppliers for equipment procurement, commissioning, and buy-off validation
· CNC Programming & Optimization: Develop, debug, and optimize CNC programs (3 , 4-, and 5-axis) across milling, turning, and grinding operations to enhance efficiency, cycle time, and precision
· Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Review engineering drawings and provide feedback or redesign components to improve manufacturability and cost effectiveness
